Why it exists

Most budgeting apps either want access to your bank or are spreadsheets that are painful on a phone. Where Went sits in between: you type in what you earn and spend, and it does the sums, balances and charts for you.

It's built by an independent developer as a simple, private tool: first for personal use, now open to anyone with a Google account.
